Colle di Val d'Elsa, a beautiful town of etruscan origin, lies in the
Chianti region of Tuscany, nestled among Florence, Siena and San
Gimignano.
Many centuries ago the art of glass blowing was brought to Colle which
then became Crystal blowing in the 1960's.
While the largest local crystal factory, CALP, grew to become the
worlds leader in terms of size, production capability and revenue, in
1981 the SANDRA MEZZETTI CRISTALLERIE store was established. To this
day it is still the unique store in Italy selling only crystal. At our
store, we have always been specialized in crystal and our dream was
fullfilled when we created our current showroom in which all of Colle's
crystal manufacturers are on display. The following brands are available
in our store: CALP, (RCR, Da Vinci Crystal) Arnolfo di Cambio,Vilca and
Colle
Crisallerie. In addition to local production we also have various
collections of the world's most prestigious crystal companies.
